This protects exhibitor investment. And it means the buyers who show up are serious.
A Travel Buyer who attends but does not complete 12 logged and rated meetings receives pro-rated reimbursement only. A City Buyer whose daily meeting count falls below 3 does not receive that day's hosted lunch. This design eliminates no-shows, removes passive attendees and ensures every buyer on the floor has a genuine procurement mandate — because their benefits depend on it.

How We Check.

Title verification
Minimum Director, VP, Head of Procurement, COO or equivalent. Junior buyers and sales or BD profiles are declined. Verified via LinkedIn and company website.

Company verification
Active food manufacturing, cold chain, logistics, processing or government body. Cross-checked via LinkedIn and trade registry. Consulting firms and intermediaries are declined.

Active procurement mandate
Must be actively evaluating or sourcing in at least one relevant category — processing equipment, cold chain technology, packaging systems, automation, ingredients or food safety. Verified at application.

Competitor & supplier filter
Anyone whose primary business is selling to exhibitors — agents, brokers, competing technology brands — is screened out. The most common source of quality problems in regional hosted buyer programmes.
